Meet Ranco

Ranco (Ran Cohen) spends his days designing complex, software-driven medical systems, and his nights writing stories that make kids laugh out loud. Tommy Tootley’s Fart-astic Family grew out of everyday family life – the chaos, the noise, the awkward moments, and the kind of humor that children instantly recognize as their own.

The series celebrates silly situations, exaggerated mishaps, and the joy of not taking life too seriously, while still leaving room for warmth, connection, and family bonds. What began as stories shared at home gradually became a growing collection of books and interactive apps, created to be read, laughed over, and explored together.

Alongside the Tommy Tootley books, Ranco also writes the Leviatopia series – a more magical, imaginative world hidden inside a whale – but his love for humor and storytelling runs through everything he creates. He is a proud father of three, the devoted human of a dog named Luna, and continues to write stories meant to be shared aloud, one giggle at a time.
