Meet Ranco

Hi, I’m Ran Cohen — but you can call me Ranco. By day, I’m a medical device geek with a love for building smart things that (actually) help people. By night, I’m the guy who writes noisy, silly stories about a fart-loving family and a giant whale city.

I’ve spent over 30 years in hi-tech, but my true passion has always been storytelling — especially the kind that makes kids laugh out loud. I created Tommy Tootley’s Fart-astic Family and Leviatopia because I believe imagination should be just as loud as real life.

I’m also a proud dad of three, a fan of audiobooks, a wannabe swimmer (who forgets his goggles), and someone who once wrote an entire story idea while stuck in traffic. True story.
